Cell Becomes a Man

At 202 Bacter Blvd: Cell - 1st Child of Bacillus Bacter - Family (Become Captain Hero) - Adult

Cell had graduated and it was time for him to begin his life. Not his father’s life, not the life that anyone else wanted for him but his own life. He had bought a house across the street from the house he had grown up in. Some might have called that weak but no matter how much he longed for his own life he also loved his family and could not turn his back on what that meant to him. The house had purchased was a small two bedroom home that would be perfect for the life he would be beginning with Michelle once she too had graduated. He looked forward to it immensely.

Looking in the mirror Cell decided that the punk haircut he had worn since he was a teenager was not the most suited for adulthood. A change of hairstyle was in order. So after a visit to the barber Cell had a more adult look about him.

Cillia in Love and Cell’s Graduation

At Beta Eta Pi: Randy London - Teen Townie - Fortune - Become Hall of Famer; Cell Bacter - 1st Child of Bacillus Bacter - Family - Become Captain Hero; Cillia Bacter - Heir of Bacillus Bacter - Popularity - Become Mayor

When we last left Beta Eta Pi, Cell Bacter had recently become engaged to his sweetheart of three years, Michelle Kearney. Cell had begun his new life as a man engaged. He still lived at Beta Eta Pi and he still had toga parties galore but he would alwyas remain faithful to Michelle.

It wasn’t long after his engagement that his sister, Cillia, joined the fraternity. Cillia moved into the house and took over one of the main rooms. Cell, being president, kicked Randy London out of the main room and into one of the lesser pledges rooms. Randy wasn’t thrilled with this but seeing as Beta Eta Pi was the Bacter’s family fraternity he complied.

Cell was happy to have his sister there. He and Cillia had always been friends. They were the first of a long line of Bacters coming from their father and they had always felt somewhat banded together. And so it was that they spent the afternoons after classes playing pinball on the machine Michelle had given Cell as a date gift.

A Proposal

Cell was starting his junior year at Sim State University in the Beta Eta Pi house. He was following along in the footsteps of all Bacters who went before him. When he had told his father he had joined the family fraternity, Bacillus was thrilled. He couldn’t have been more proud to see his son follow in his footsteps.

Just as all juniors at SSU, Cell had an appointment with a career counselor. The counselor tried to convince Cell to change his life aspiration but he knew his priorities would always be with having a family and with his feelings for Michelle his decision was just reaffirmed. So, much to his counselor’s chagrin, Cell stuck with his aspiration and his dream of becoming Captain Hero (Simmer’s Note: I think that is Cell’s LTW but I can’t remember for sure. But it seems right because his career choice will come into play later on.)

Cell in Love

He reached out and took her by the hands. She looked a little shocked but he was relieved when she didn’t pull them away. He then began to tell her how much she meant to him and how he really thought he was falling in love with her. He found words he didn’t know he had and when he had finished she just looked at him.

Michelle suddenly found that she couldn’t breathe. It couldn’t be possible. She never got what she wanted out of life and the one thing she wanted more than anything else was to become Mrs. Cell Bacter. She blinked a few times and pressed her fingernails into the palm of her hand to make sure she wasn’t dreaming. When she realized she wasn’t she finally said, “Cell, I think that I’m falling in love with you too.”

Cell let out a sigh of relief. He was so nervous that she was going to tell him they should just be friends. Then, at the same time they both moved closer together and leaned in and Cell gently pressed his lips to Michelle’s for their first kiss.

Cell Goes to College

Cell Bacter loved his family but at the same time couldn’t help but be relieved to get away and head off to Sim State University to start life on his own. He couldn’t help but be excited. He would be going to the same university as his father and his grandfather before him. He had heard stories from both his dad and his mom about their time and Sim State and he couldn’t wait to start his own memories.

Cell had a very high level of devotion to his family. He wanted to have a family of his own and felt responsible for his younger siblings. He was the oldest after all and even though he was leaving for college he would have to watch out for the younger members of the family from there.

There was a rental house on campus that Bacillus insisted Cell start off in before he pledged Beta Eta Pi (which he would do, of course, every Bacter so far had pledged Beta Eta Pi). Cell agreed. He wasn’t too keen on living in the dorms. While he knew that was part of college life he was a little shy. Besides, he knew exactly who he wanted to share the house with: the clerk from the Plaza, Michelle Kearney. So Cell moved into the house on Crumplebottom Drive and Michelle would be moving in not long after him.
