A Proposal
Cell was starting his junior year at Sim State University in the Beta Eta Pi house. He was following along in the footsteps of all Bacters who went before him. When he had told his father he had joined the family fraternity, Bacillus was thrilled. He couldn’t have been more proud to see his son follow in his footsteps.
Just as all juniors at SSU, Cell had an appointment with a career counselor. The counselor tried to convince Cell to change his life aspiration but he knew his priorities would always be with having a family and with his feelings for Michelle his decision was just reaffirmed. So, much to his counselor’s chagrin, Cell stuck with his aspiration and his dream of becoming Captain Hero (Simmer’s Note: I think that is Cell’s LTW but I can’t remember for sure. But it seems right because his career choice will come into play later on.)
Cell loved living in the frat house. It was the first time in his life that he lived with guys. Before he had always lived with girls. He had so many sisters and then he had lived with Michelle. He found it was kind of fun being sloppy and disgusting without having to worry about offending anyone. Randy was a little more uptight about keeping things clean. Brilliant was a total slob on the other hand. Cell wondered if it was his other worldliness and he decided that it was fitting for him to be engaged to their maid Lucy. Randy, on the other hand, always seemed to be cleaning up something while Cell and Brilliant spent their time playing video games.

Cell and Michelle definitely saw less of each other now that Cell lived in the Beta Eta Pi house with the guys. They still got together to study a couple nights of week but it was turning out to be quite difficult. Anytime another guy spoke to Michelle Cell was finding himself to be quite jealous. He trusted her but he was scared of losing her at the same time. After a semester of this Cell decided enough was enough. So he called up Michelle and set up a date. She was surprised and he assured her that he meant a real date.
Since neither one of them had a car Cell suggested that they meet up in front of Londaste (a fancy resturaunt in town) that evening. Cell dressed to kill but Michelle didn’t know of the Londaste’s reputation so she showed up just in plain clothes. Cell didn’t seem to mind and he swept Michelle into his arms for a kiss.

Michelle was embarassed by her appearence, “Cell, you didn’t tell me this was a fancy place.”
“You look beautiful, Michelle. They will think you are fancy enough, just as you are.”
Michelle blushed. Cell was so sweet to her.
The maitre’d led them to their table. Michelle felt out of place. She knew that Cell’s family had lots of money but her family barely had any. This kind of resturaunt was way out of her league. But Cell made her feel comfortable. He ordered the filet mignon for both of them and when it arrived he took the liberty of feeding Michelle a couple of pieces.

After they had finished their entrees Cell ordered champagne. It was a very expensive bottle and Michelle protested at the price but Cell insisted, “Tonight has no price.”
When the champagne arrived, Cell held up his glass in a toast.

“Tonight is for your Michelle Kearney,” he turned to face her, “Michelle, I know the last semester or so has been rough on both of us with me living in the Beta house and you still on Crumplebottom Drive. But, if there is one thing that our time apart has taught me it is that I love you more than I ever thought possible and that I want to spend the rest of my life with you.”
Cell slid a small, black velvet box across the table, “Michelle, will you marry me?”
Michelle gasped and looked at the ring. The diamond was the biggest diamond she had ever seen. She stared at the box for a minute before saying…

“YES!”

(Simmer’s Note: I thought about leaving you hanging but decided that would just be too cruel)

I’m glad you didn’t leave us hanging - I’d have been upset
Seriously - great update - they’re such a cute couple

Yes. Leaving us hanging WOULD have been cruel, and we would have had to come after you with our torches and our pitchforks and all other angry mob paraphenalia. :O))) Awww … sweet! Cell’s engaged to his sweetie! :O)))

That was so sweet! They are so cute together and now he shouldn’t have any reason to be jealous. =)
