One More Picture of Abigail

Since I haven’t had a lot of time for playing the Sims I thought I’d put up another picture of Abigail to keep you all entertained until I can get the next Bacter update ready. (Which should hopefully be soon.)

This picture of Abby was taken yesterday at 11 days old.

Passage of Time

Yersinia and Xavier could hardly believe how much their two daughters had grown. Legionella had started high school and had turned into quite a beautiful young woman. Listeria had also started school. After much discussion, a lot of which Legionella had to give her opinion, Yersinia and Xavier decided to have the headmaster of the Legacy Academy over for dinner to see about getting their girls admitted. They had both put it off for various reasons but it seemed the time was right. It was the school Yersinia had gone to and it had prepared her well for college so she could only hope that it would do the same for her daughters.

So, Yersinia and Xavier had Headmaster Ryan over for dinner. Xavier set about giving the headmaster a tour of the house. Headmaster Ryan couldn’t help but comment on how lovely the house was. Xavier pointed out that Yersinia’s late father had built it from nothing and this of course impressed the headmaster even more. Yersinia set out making dinner while Xavier gave the tour. She had decided to make lobster for dinner, something she had never done before. It turned out pretty bad. But remarkably, Headmaster Ryan didn’t seem to notice the funny taste to the lobster and engaged in a lively dinner conversation. Legionella joined her parents for dinner because she figured she could convince the headmaster that she deserved to be in his school.

Headmaster Ryan was more than pleased with the Bacter family and enrolled Legionella and Listeria on the spot. It was hard to tell who was more excited about the enrollment, Legionella or her parents.

Cell Goes to College

Cell Bacter loved his family but at the same time couldn’t help but be relieved to get away and head off to Sim State University to start life on his own. He couldn’t help but be excited. He would be going to the same university as his father and his grandfather before him. He had heard stories from both his dad and his mom about their time and Sim State and he couldn’t wait to start his own memories.

Cell had a very high level of devotion to his family. He wanted to have a family of his own and felt responsible for his younger siblings. He was the oldest after all and even though he was leaving for college he would have to watch out for the younger members of the family from there.

There was a rental house on campus that Bacillus insisted Cell start off in before he pledged Beta Eta Pi (which he would do, of course, every Bacter so far had pledged Beta Eta Pi). Cell agreed. He wasn’t too keen on living in the dorms. While he knew that was part of college life he was a little shy. Besides, he knew exactly who he wanted to share the house with: the clerk from the Plaza, Michelle Kearney. So Cell moved into the house on Crumplebottom Drive and Michelle would be moving in not long after him.

A Bustling Household

Life in Bacillus and Mallory Bacter’s home is anything but calm and quiet. With five children running around and another one on the way there is never a dull moment. Most mornings are utter chaos with Mallory trying to get all the kids ready for school and fed. Bacillus helps when he can but he has to get himself ready for work. Most mornings Mallory runs around smelly and hungry trying to accomodate her children. But a 8 am when that bus comes she has some time to breathe. That is until Cyto, the toddler, gets tired and cranky and starts screaming to go to bed. While Cyto naps Mallory is able to use the bathroom and shower and can usually get the house cleaned up before 3 pm comes around and the kids are home from school and Cyto is awake and the madness starts all over again. So, one might imagine Mallory’s frustration when she started to show during her 5th pregnancy (Simmer’s Note: Remember this is only the 5th pregnancy for Mallory but will make the 6th child since they adopted Gabriella.). With a growing belly it was going to be harder for Mallory to move around the house.
